Hello all Yoopers! Just think, summer is only a few months away! While many of us will be enjoying a great grill out or working in the garden, there is one thing that almost all of us hate in these warm summer months. The dreaded mosquito! Those nasty little buggers will be burning our ears with their famous high pitch wing sound and pinching the open areas of our bodies with their needle like suckers. However bad we think we have it here in the Upper Peninsula, things could be worse. I was just reading an article about some crazy caterpillars down in Florida. These things seem to carry a nasty bite and are mildly venomous. So when you are swatting and cursing this July at our blood filled little friends, just remind yourself about these creepy crawly guys down south!! Here is the link to the article:
